The included factory letter confirms the current configuration when the revolver was shipped on April 27, 1981 to GT Distributors, Rossville, GA, Hank Williams Jr.'s primary S&W distributor. The revolver has special ordered grips that Hank Jr. requested inlaid with hearts and music notes as well as the factory inscription "HANK" on the sideplate. This revolver is from the collection of world famous American country singer and song writer Hank Williams Jr. and includes a certificate of authenticity confirming his ownership as well as the aforementioned factory letter, which is addressed to him. Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish, minor handling evidence, and faint cylinder drag line. The grips are also excellent with a single tiny spot through the varnish at the left grip heel. Mechanically excellent.
