Manufactured in 1927, this is an exceptional Trapper's Carbine with a 14 inch barrel. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms lists this carbine as being removed from the purview of the National Firearms Act and classified as a curio and relic and the ATF exemption letter is included. The carbine is fitted with a pinned blade front sight, folding ladder rear sight and a saddle ring on the left side of the receiver. There are standard markings including the Winchester factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver. Mounted with a carbine stock. Per the three accompanying letters, this carbine was examined and authenticated by the following well known dealers and collectors: Hayes Otoupalik, Jack Malloy and John Fox. In their own separate letter all three noted experts verify this trapper carbine as being all correct.

Very fine, retaining 75% original blue finish with thinning to brown and high edge wear on the balance. The wood is very fine with some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
