Description:Manufactured in 1973 as a run of just 250 pistols, this Luger features polished blue finish on the upper, side plate, and grip straps with a matte blue on the sides and straw small parts. A panel has been etched on the left side and gold inlaid with "75 Jahre/Parabellum Pistole/1900-1975". The toggle features the "Original Mauser" logo. The chamber is marked with the Swiss cross. Includes a plastic stand, presentation case containing cleaning rod, a takedown tool, and one extra magazine. This Luger was featured in Automatic Magazine Volume LI, Issue 4 on page 80 in the artilcle "A 'Cross' Section of Swiss Lugers: 1900-1973". A signed copy of the article is also included. Rating Definition:Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and straw finishes with limited handling marks and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine with storage and handling marks and some high edge wear on the lining.
