Manufactured in 1977 as a run of just 250 pistols, this Luger features polished blue finish on the upper, side plate, and grip straps with a matte blue on the sides and straw small parts. A panel has been etched on the left side and gold inlaid with "70 Jahre/Parabellum-Pistole/Kaiserreich Ruskland" in Gothic script. The toggle features a similar oval panel with "DWM" logo inlaid in gold. The chamber is marked with two crossed Mosin-Nagant rifles as well as having Cyrillic markings on the safety and loaded chamber indicator. The magazine baseplate is wood and is marked "Cal. 9M/M". Includes Francis Allan's Mauser Parabellum book, original box and commemorative case containing a cleaning tool, a takedown tool, extra magazine, one dummy round, and original paperwork including matching number target. Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and straw finishes with limited handling marks and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with storage marks and some torn corners. Case is excellent with minimal storage marks.
