Manufactured in 1970. Dual white bead sights on the matte, vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, standard markings and Belgian proofs, and chokes marked "**"/"*" (modified/full) but have been honed. Standard Grade I light floral scroll engraving on the receiver with a gold washed single trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock with Browning buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): Bore diameter nine inches from the breech .546/.548 inches; choke constriction .001/.002 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs 7 oz.
Excellent, retaining 99% original blue finish with limited handling evidence and some grease residue. There is a tiny chip at the toe, otherwise the wood is very fine with some scattered minor handling marks, some varnish crazing, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
