The bolstered, coin finished boxlock action displays stunning near full coverage floral scroll engraving which extends to the toplever, trigger guard, and both tangs. The bottom of the action is marked "PERUIGINI & VISINI/NUVOLERA" set amongst the scrollwork. The triggerplate is signed "C. Tomasoni" for highly regarded Italian Master Engraver Claudio Tomasoni. The rifle features double triggers, a right hand rolled trigger guard, and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Beautiful, highly figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings, including the rotary latch release, and pistol grip stock with teardrop carved flats, engraved blued steel grip cap, raised shadowline cheekpiece, and red rubber recoil pad. Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with limited handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The case is excellent. Mechanically excellent.
