Blued Guss Stahl barrels with a small blade front and fixed rear sight on the smooth solid rib which is marked "J. Eberwein, Regensburg", gold band and flourish inlaid at the breech, and a single extractor for the chambers. The casehardened hammer back action displays bird and dog scenes on the left and a boar and stag on the right all surrounded by leafy scroll. The gun features non-rebounding hammers and double triggers (front is a single set). Beautifully figured checkered and floral carved forend and straight grip stock with large horn pistol grip and steel buttplate.
Fine, showing an attractive smooth brown patina on the barrels, attractive grey coloration to the action and locks, and mild handling evidence. The forend is missing a few chips; otherwise, the wood is fine with some dings and scratches and mostly crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
