Developed in the early 1980s, the M82 series was adopted by a number of military forces where its powerful chambering and long range capabilities make it useful for a number of tasks from anti-personnel to anti-material. It features standard Barrett Manufacturing Inc. markings on the left side of the magazine well. The rifle is fitted with a shortened heavy fluted barrel with bolt-on Barrett two chamber chevron muzzle brake, ventilated steel receiver, 60 slot Picatinny rail running across the top, folding bipod, buttstock mounted monopod, bolt on buttstock grip panels, detachable carry handle, flip up blade front and fully adjustable rear peep sights, and solid rubber recoil pad. The muzzle break has been modified with a mounting end cap for the silencer included with the lot, along with a threaded mounting bracket bolted onto the front of the forend.

Excellent overall, retaining 95% plus matte grey finish with scattered handling marks and scratches near the takedown pins. Mechanically excellent.

Constructed from stainless steel, with a threaded front cap, internal expansion space, and a short section of .88 caliber bore at the end. Marked "JCB INC/PORTLAND OR." 30 3/4 inches overall, enclosed by the forearm when threaded onto mounting bracket on forend of rifle.

Very fine overall, with faint handling marks.
